Girls in the 2ww?

Sorry I always post so many questions!

When do you all normally test? Since it's my first month I am dying to test early just to see.

If we don't get pregnant this month next month (and any month after) I will just wait until AF is late.

I am so anxious to test on 10 DPO (Wednesday) although I have no symptoms. Is that bad? I am okay with having a BFN I just want to POAS so bad!

i think 10dpo is too early. they usually say to wait until at least 13dpo. if you test now you'll more than likely just get a BFN and just get depressed. try to hold out if you can. but im pullin for ya!

To be perfectly honest, I like to test.

Here's a little excerpt from my blog that describes my opinions on testing early:

I am kind of happy that I tested beforehand this way the BFN didn't hit me like a ton of bricks. I slowly had time to get used to the idea.. allow it to sink in... allow myself to take a step back and think about what to do next. I guess it was like climbing up this ladder of excitement and positivity and hopefulness... and each BFN was like taking one step backward - one step down. I figure it's better than clinging onto the hope and anxiousness and anxiety of NOT knowing... not having a clue either way.. climbing all the way to the top of that ladder, then having it taken right from under your feet and crashing and falling to the ground - if that makes sense.

That being said... if you're like me and don't mind seeing a BFN - then go for it and test at 10 DPO. That is usually when I start. I typically will do 10 DPO, 12 DPO, 14 DPO... or something like that depending on my mood. Sometimes 11 DPO then 13 DPO... whatever works!

ETA: I usually don't advise people to test early, because many people are crushed when they get a BFN.

I love to POAS!!!! I think that's why I love my CBEFM so much! I'm all for testing to get it off your mind as long as a possible BFN won't crush you.

Im at the same point in my cycle as you. As well, Im dying to test but im holding out till friday, mostly because Id rather test on the weekend.

In the beginning I'd test at 12 DPO because that was when I got my BFP when I had my daughter.

However, now that it has been over a year of TTCing... I refuse b/c the tests are just way too expensive and I refuse to use the dollar store ones.

Right now I am on the same cycle as you...

In all honesty, I am trying to hold out until AF is late...I have a hard time with seeing BFN and seeing AF is pretty much the same disappointment...So I figure why not save a few bucks and just wait...

I used to test after 11DPO but after the disappointment decided to wait until AF was 2 days late... started that last month and it was easier when AF arrived. So that's the game plan from now on for me.

I really don't think I could wait. It took all might might not to POAS this morning and I am only 8 DPO and have no symptoms!

You can begin at 10 DPO, but the magic numbers always seem to be 11-13DPO.
