This was the midnight post from Ron:
3/26 - Just back from the hospital (midnight). It's been a long day. Brain activity is down to 3.9%. At 8AM the doctors will come to make a pronouncement. At that time the donor network will take Keith for organ donation. As soon as I have the funeral arrangements I will post them.
I am guessing after a post like that, their is just nothing we could do to make her wish come true. Sperm lives in the human body up to 24 hours past death (thank you CSI) so she would need the $3,000+storage fees by Monday.
but Ron made no mention of the sperm issue. Monday is still a day away, if it was legit dont you think he would have mentioned it?

All I am trying to say is I am sure he is in the mind frame of helping Janet and not able to sit with us and post every single detail. Or some details that he will post at a later time.

Thats what I thought as well.
Plus, I think Ron would have posted something.
It would be sad, if someone just did that for 'fun'.
Anyway - all of the money that is being donated is going straight to LIF/LIW address, so Idon't think we should be worried about it at this time.

Isn't this a secure site. How would that person know her password or be able to sit and hack into it to post the information on Janet's behalf.  
I work with a guy who is a computer genious and it would take him time to back door through a secure site, find the password and then log in. This person would have to have spent a great deal of time doing such a thing.
and remember all computers have IP addresses so why would this person log in as Janet and risk being found out. IP addresses are very easily traceable.

How hard is it to delete a thread??? He is the owner of the website and all he has to do is go into the main frame and delete. It is not hard to do. I've had things posted and deleted in a matter of 5 minutes on my company's global system.

i agree as well....
and honestly, most of us were sending our donations to either Ron or Janet herself so if it was a fake, then WHO CARES.
We all want to give in anyway we can.
I for one believe in the poster. I think Janet must be out of her mind now and has a gazillion thoughts running through her head. And that may have been a thought and asked the "friend"/vendor to post it. She may be thinking of other things as well and regretted the post, hence the deletion.
WHO KNOWS, IMO WHO CARES...we are giving to her no matter what she does with the money...
At least that is me

Basically a friend/vendor here posted under janets name saying that she would like to keep Keith's sperm to one day have his child.
Some have speculated the validity of this poster since Janet cannot conceive children...
But honestly....IMO WHO CARES...
Who knows all the thoughts that may be running through her head right now. Her husband is dying.
Janet most definitely will be needing something from us. So who cares what she does with it...
As long as WE know she will benefit from it.
People questioning things IMO is just a waste of time...

I agree that it is a good idea to send donations through LIF. We all feel horribly for Janet and have come together as a family during her time of need. I hope the posting was legit because it would be very sad if it wasnt. BUt it is gone now and janet's pain is still there. So I think we need to send lots of hugs and prayers her way.

I For one have offered to assist Janet in any way possibly...already have.
I mentioned what I did because I know a lot of people believed it was a fake post and I would hate in Janets time of need for someone to be exploiting her name and her tragedy.
The fact the threads were deleted and the fact that what was posted is not physically possible makes me worry. All I wanted to point out was that we have to be careful.
Its a damn shame anyone would do that, and I dont think pointing it out makes me any less sympathatic to JAnets needs or that of her family.
This was not meant to cause an arguement...and for those who may want to turn it into that...shame on you..

Guys, let's let this topic drop.
Let's just assume that someone thought they were trying to do something good for Janet and when she realized that she made a mistake, she asked for the post to be deleted.
And, I don't think we should expect Ron to have to take the time out to explain this to us. He has been spending a lot of time helping Janet and should be able to spend the rest of his free time in peace with his family instead of writing about why he deleted those threads.
to everyone and let's remember that ALL of us are trying to do something helpful for Janet

I spoke to Ron the other day, and he said the donations would be a big help, and the cooked meals. Ron said he will post how else we can help Janet when the time comes.
