Girls having #2, I got a question

When did you start to show with number #2? And when did you start to put on the maternity clothes again?

Re: Girls having #2, I got a question

Its really funny because I always heard you show earlier with the second but I didn't for some reason. I did not use my maternity clothes until I was 5 months, same as my first pregnancy. I first was a boy and now its a girl and I'm carrying aot smaller this time.

I showed pretty much the same with #2, except I was carrying much lower, prob around 11 weeks-12 weeks i had a belly.

I was in maternity pants around that time, and maternity shirts around 16 weeks.

Re: Girls having #2, I got a question

I was in maternity clother pretty early. I was just really uncomfortable in my regular clothes. I was in maternity by 13 weeks. I just started to really show now at 21 weeks. You can tell I am pregnant and not just chubby now. I have been looking chubby since about 12 weeks. I did not show until almost 7 months with my first so this is a huge difference.

I started to show around 3-4 months and started to wear maternity shirts around then. I was showing earlier with this PG compared to DS.

Re: Girls having #2, I got a question

With my first, I did not start showing and needing maternity clothes till about 16-17 weeks.

With my second, it was closer to 15 weeks.

With my 3rd, it was about the same, 15 weeks.

I'm 10 -11 weeks and I feel like a "muffin top". My belly poofed out already. With DS I did show anything until 4 months. I didn't wear maternity pants until 4 1/2 months.

This time, I don't know but if all goies well, I might invest in some maternity pants already.

With my first I started wearing maternity around 5 months. with my second pregnancy I was bloated all the time so I started wearing my bigger clothes around week 5Chat Icon (lost the pregnancy at 10wks. so don't know how that would of played out). Here we are at #3 pregnancy and I am a little tight in my regular clothes by the end of the day due to bloat.

I didn't really show until about 22-24 weeks with #2 same like #1. To me I looked pg but to someone who didn't know me I just looked a little heavier. Now I did start wearing maternity cloths at that point but the pants weren't really staying up. Since I am a SAHM my regular pants consisted of yoga pants so that is what I continued to wear so I didn't really have to worry about outgrowing my regular cloths. Althought I did have some Kakies and jeans that did last until I was 12 weeks.

For me, 6 weeks. I only weighed 109 pounds though so I think the "bloating" was just more obvious and noticeable. It certainly impeded my ability to zipper my pants. So I spent 32 weeks in maternity clothes.Chat Icon It's so nice to be able to wear "real" clothes again and be in style.Chat Icon

eta-I only gained about 30 pounds and never looked large/big, so it's no indicator.
