I would HIGHLY recommend going to the Social Security website and checking names there. We made the mistake of naming our 7-yr old what - unbeknownst to us - was apparently the name du jour at that time!
What I like about the SS website is that you can check name popularity by state - that is so important because the popularity of names does seem to be regional.
BTW, we have no girls' names picked out for this one yet! We can't seem to find one that seems right.
