Going to visist my friend tomorrow who had her son on Mon. What is a good gift? She didnt know the sex til birth

If she didn't know the sex beforehand, you can get her boy clothes. From what I've seen, most people buy a ton of 0-3, 3-6 months clothes. By the time her son is 6 months, 9 months, she'll have a lot less clothes for him. If you opt for the larger clothes remember it's going to be cold weather. If you want to take advantage of end of the summer sales, you can buy 9-12 month summer clothes.

Other than that, I'd look at her registry for things she didn't get.

I also suggest 6-9 months or 12 months. I received so much 0-3 and 3-6 and had to buy 6-9. I had bought a gift for a friend of mine in 6-9 and she was so happy that I bought that for because she didnt have any in that size. One thing if you can find which is kinda hard to come buy but the short sleeve rompers that have pants. I love them for the in between weathers where it is warm enough for short sleeves but not yet for shorts.

An outfit w/ footie pants was one gift that we got that was great b/c she was too small for socks but had cold feet. and now I've discovered they're hard to find in regular pants that aren't pj's.

Do you know how big the baby is? I ask because I had NO newborn sized pjs because I didn't think it was possible for babies to fit into something that small So I got 0-3 month pjs thinking they'd be small enough, but nope, they were huge. So I had to have my mom run out and buy all newborn pjs.
