getting your rings to fit again
my rings stopped fitting me around 12 weeks pregnant
i would like to get them on again..i am 11weeks pp
my e ring will go on but its tight,my wedding band not even close
to be fair they were never "big" on me to begin with
will it eventually fir or should i consider having them re sized,also if you had your ring re sized how much was it?

Great post. I am almost at the point of getting them to fit at 1 year out after my second. They may fit for a while, but then get stuck as I eat something salty.
I will get them resized when I'm done having kids.

Yes mine fit again after dieting.  It was around 3-4 months I think.

yeah i was close to getting them resized but after about 6 or 7 months they began to fit again. hold off if you can.

I have to say my rings never fit right again.
I lost all the weight, all the swelling went away, but for some reason it was like my finger just grew a size.
I know some people say their shoe size goes up and never comes back down, and I didn't have that issue -even though my feet were like an elephant's by the end.
However, I need to get my rings resized because I am shoving them on every day and using water to try and lube up my fingers!

I just had DD2 and my rings have not fit right since DD1 was born in 2010.
I can get them both on but it is really uncomfortable. I can wear just my wedding ring and it's a little better, but after a while it bothers me.
I think I'm just going to have them resized.

Mine never fit - I'm 5 lbs above where I was when I got pregnant with DS 1 right now and I don't think my fingers are ever going to go back to the size they were before.
The cost varies depending on the metal and how much larger the rings need to be made. I went before I got preggo with DS and my rings are platinum and had to go up 1 3/4 sizes and I was quoted over $200... So I decided to wait.

still working on fitting into mine haha.. i tried to go get it resized and they wanted an insane amount of money (like close to $200 to go up a size!) so I decided to see how it fits when I lose more weight. I'm about 10 lbs from pre pregnancy weight.

I lost all the weight & they still didnt fit at my 6 week appt.
I want to say they fit by 3-4 months.

I stopped wearing mine around 20-25 weeks and at 23 months PP, I had to have them re-sized because it just was not going to happen. It turns out that my finger(s) grew 2 sizes. Now I'm expecting #2 and worried again.

Tahnk goodness I am not the only one! I thought it was just me.
My engaement ring fits, but I suffer from eczema so if I have a flare up then it is tight. My wedding ring wont even go on. My DD it two. I think I should just get resized.

It took a few months for mine to fit again. 10 months PP and they are still hard to get on and off though.

i waited a few months pp then had to get them resized. i lost all the weight, and never really swelled and i think my fingers grew. and i wore them up until the end.
it was expensive. both my ering and band are platinum. i only had to go up a little but it cost $400 i believe. this was also about 2 yrs ago. I know the metal was expensive then. Don't know how much it is now.

I would wait to resize. Mine fit around 3 months PP...I can usually get them ON but sometimes I can't them OFF
I still have 15-20 lbs to lose *sigh*

Glad to see I am not alone in this! All my friends wore their rings their whole pregnancy and had no problem with them after! I am almost 6 months pp and I am getting a callous on my finger from jamming them on! I use lotion to lube it up! I am almost back to my pre preg weight. I just think my knuckle grew being pregnant. I would give it a few months and see then. I am going to give it a few more months myself.
