getting roof cleaned?
i've noticed over time, my roof that faces the front of my house developed these black streaks... anyone have this problem before and how do you go about cleaning it? would like to avoid bleach if possible since i'm afraid of killing plants/grass.

Yes I have.
I would wait until winter is over though and in the spring, look into hiring a reputable power washer person for your roof. They have chemicals that are plant and pet friendly.
Do you have tree branches hanging over your roof? I think that can cause the black streaks.

No its so odd. There are no trees. The only thing I can think of is that my house faces north. And its a lighter colored roof so maybe it shows more? Anyway thanks for the suggestion, I'll look into it!
