Getting rid of bottles ?

Just curious. DD2 is almost 11 months and going to be starting on milk soon. I made her formula in a sippy cup this morning just to see if she'd drink it, and she did! Is there any reason why she needs to have a bottle at this point? If she continues to drink out of the sippy (which is pretty close to a bottle anyway) should I just ditch the bottles? Thanks! DD1 was hooked on her bottle and didn't get rid of them til around 2 1/2!

No reason for a bottle if they drink out of a cup. The earlier the better.

There's no reason to push a cup on a child that age that doesn't want it, but if she takes it with no problem, I wouldn't turn back. Both my girls were using straw cups exclusively before 1.
