Getting Desperate
Well DH and I have been TTC since August, although to be honest only about 3 months did we really make an effort, the rest was more if it happens it happens. About 5 months after coming off of BCP I started to spot for 5-7 days before AF. This has continued on since May and no Dr. can diagnose anything. First I was told I have hypothyroidism and was immediately put on Synthroid, after 5 days I was told to stop the synthroid bc my next set of blood work came back with a normal thyroid level. But I was told I have a vitamin B12 deficiency, so I started getting injections last week. DH has been working opposite hours than me this month so I don't think we BD enough or at the right times.
I was also just put on Progesterone to stop the spotting, but it's not working. I've been reading other supplements people have used in the past and am very tempted to start taking B6 and Vitex. Any recommendations? Should I not take both in addition to the progesterone. I never thought I would have such issues and they all started right before we were ready to start TTC. Thanks for listening,

if you start spotting a week before AF, have you ever had your progesterone levels checked via bloodwork at like 7DPO? maybe progesterone isnt even the problem. pills arent at all the best way to deliver progesterone. you could ask your doctor about suppositories to see if the spotting stops. ultimately there is also progesterone injections but that's usually reserved for really severe low progesterone or IVF cases. good luck!!
