getting baby to drop
anyone know of any exercises, etc that exist that get your baby to drop into the pelvis? Last week he was not engaged at all, hoping that at tomorrow's appointment (37+2) he's moved a bit but if not, I was wondering if there was anything that can be done to help things along!

Re: getting baby to drop
Try walking a lot. I stopped working out at 5 months but I walk A LOT. As of yesterday, at 36 weeks, the baby is fully in position and ready to come out. You can always try squats...those are great for the cervix to dilate quicker.

Re: getting baby to drop
baby never dropped into pelvis.. ipushed him there.. lots of walking, i did a lot of sitting on my knees with my legs apart, somehow i thought it would put pressure on my cervix..not sure if it worked but iwas 4cm when i went into the hospital..had been 2cm the friday before. good luck..

Walk.
That said, some babies don't drop until you're in labor. Don't panic!

Too early for you yet, but at the very end you can use a yoga ball.

Re: getting baby to drop
Squats and walking both open up your pelvis allowing the baby more room to drop down. Good luck!
