Genetic Testing and Wait Time
I posted here last week about the big mess with my blood work. (A week after 8 week blood work they said everything was fine, 3 weeks later called to tell me I was not immune to Rubella, 1 week later called to tell me I am immune to rubella, but a carrier for CF). DH went in last Wednesday to get tested to see if he is a carrier. The tech told him one week for results. Then my obgyn said, no 2 weeks. Today I called just to check and see if by chance it was back and now they are telling me the results take THREE weeks! Is that normal???

Genetic Testing and Wait Time
I'm not 100% sure but none of my tests have EVER taken 3 weeks to come back. My blood comes back a week AT THE MOST!!!! I would call again and ask if there is anyway to speed up the test results. To wait another 3 weeks is a little absurd to me. If you need to, ask to speak to an office manager, they might be more helpful. And tell them the tech said a week.
