general question
Will doctors prescribe injectibles for IUI's....or are injectibles strictly for IVF? Anyone have any experience with injectibles and IUI? (not the hcg shot... I mean the actual shots/meds to produce the follies)

Re: general question
If the clomid that i have been on all month doesn't work then next month we will move onto injectables and then an IUI.
They monitor you pretty close so if you are producing too many follicles i think they just lower your dosage of the shots.

Thanks Jess!! It was actually your question about injectables that reminded me to ask that question.

Re: general question
I did this cycle with injectibles/IUI. My IUI was yesterday. I think I did 18 days of follistim. They started me on a teeny tiny dose and gradually moved up to avoid OHSS.
I was at the RE 5 times in the last week for monitoring and finally the IUI.

Re: general question
I did 2 rounds of Follistim injections with IUI before moving on to IVF.
