Re: Gender
When i was 12 weeks they guessed, and they were wrong! I would seriously recommend waiting till at least 16-17 weeks when they are more sure. We didn't care what sex were, but to think I was having a girl for a week and they to find out it was 2 boys was strange.
Good luck!!

Re: Gender
I wouldn't trust a gender guess before 15-16 weeks. That said, we went for a sono at 11w2d and the tech told us she thought she could tell and said We asked a different tech at our NT scan at 12w1d and she said it's still early but if she had to guess she would say We had gender confirmed at 16w and again at 20w and we are most definitely having a
The privates dont really distinguish until 15-16w although there are theories that look at "the angle of the dangle" to determine gender earlier. I have no idea if that's what the techs were doing at our early sono of it's just coincidence...
I say go ahead and ask but expect to be rebuffed and take any guesses they do give you with a grain of salt. We figured those guesses were as accurate as intelligender and didn't cost us anything

Re: Gender
I was 19 weeks at an emergency appointment, and was told a girl, and she was still a girl at my level II the following week, and is still a girl now lol. Despite the usual idiots asking if we're sure it's still a girl. They didn't guess prior to that, but the last sono before 19w was 12w, and that would have been too early anyways.

Re: Gender
they tried at 20 weeks but her legs were crossed so it was hard to see but they thought it was a girl.
22 1/2 weeks they confirmed girl!
no guesses before the 20 weeks, they told me it was too soon and it wouldnt be as accurate.

Re: Gender
At 11w my baby's legs were closed so no guesses....Dr did say thought that a guess at that point would be 75%accurate.
We have to wait for our level II to find out--23 more days!

Re: Gender
We found out the gender with my last pregnancy at 16wk2d. They tried to guess before that, but the baby was always in the wrong position.
