GD Test Results? FAIL.
Soooo I just got back the results of my 1-hour glucose test for GD. And I failed. But I failed in a BIG way- apparently normal is below 140- and I am at 171. Anyone else have similar numbers/experience?

Jen failed the 1 hour when she was pg with Lex, then passed the 3 hour- hopefully it will be the same for you!
I have yet to do the 1 hour this time.

I failed my 1 hour with 197 or something ridiculous. Then passed the 3 hour. Good Luck!

I failed the one hour both pregnancies. My number was in the 160's. I took the 3 hour and failed the first pregnancy and ended up on a modified diet and having to monitor my blood 4 times a day. I just found out I failed the 1 hour again with this pregnancy and am skipping the 3 hour and just starting the modified diet again.

I failed my 1 hour within 8 points, but failed the 3 hour by pretty big numbers. either you have it or you don't. Wait to see what the 3 hour results are. Could go either way. Good Luck.

Thank you girls, much appreciated. I am going to do the 3 hour on Monday- talked to my doc this morn and she wants me on Iron pills, stat. I picked some up at CVS and am crossing my fingers for Monday's 3 hour test.
