Re: gd and hypoglycemia q
I've been Type 1 diabetic for 27 years. I'm very tuned into by BS levels, and most of the time, I can guess my levels within a few points of the meter.
Over 80, I feel normal. Around 75, I just feel a little hungry, but nothing significant Around 70, I'm still feeling fine, but I can tell it's a bit low Around 65, I'm starting to feel some of the physical symptoms, (eyesight gets a little blurry, tiny bit sweaty, tiny bit shaky) but if I'm not focusing on them, they aren't that noticeable. Around 60, my heart is racing a bit, and the physical symptoms are noticeable, but I can still function just fine From there down, the physical symptoms are more and more pronounced. Somewhere around 50, I get very irritable.
Sometimes, the physical symptoms hit harder than the meter would suggest when the levels are dropping quickly. You might have been dropping fast, and just spot-checked it at 69 as it was going down.

Re: gd and hypoglycemia q
Thank you! Pre preg I get hypo feeling a lot but now with gd I don't know which end is up. I felt crazy to feel soooooo unwell at 69 or 70 but being that I felt better in the upper 80s I suppose means something. Is ur sugar always on the lower side when u are hungry? Another day my tummy was growling but when I took bs it was 93. This is all so confusing to me. Tia!!!

Re: gd and hypoglycemia q
Most of the time, my hunger and BS are coordinating, but sometimes I surprise myself and I'm hungry even if my BS is normal or high....
