gatorade

WHen DS was sick one of the only things he would drink (when he would drink) was gatorade...

PS- now it seems to be all he wants...I mean he still loves his water- but sometimes would rather have gatorade...

Usually- I would give him watered down juicy juice when he wouldnt drink his water but now he refuses it..

So my question is- is gatorade bad for them? Should I be staying away from it?

Again- its not like he is drinking glasses of it everyday...

But he has seemed to been subsituting his daily/bi-daily juice cup... for a gatorade cup..

I think its bad. I drank alot of it while I was pregnant as did DH and we both gained alot of weight also the sugar content is pretty high.

I think gatorade is loaded with sodium. I don't know if the ingredients are different in pedialyte but I would think that they would be since it's designed for children. I'd give him that instead. It should have a similar appeal to him since it comes in flavors.

Yes, gatorade is bad for children. Way too much sodium and sugar. I would not give it to him, Maris.
