I love mine! However, I will be honest I was very upset when I trained for 4 months for the li half marathon and on race day it wouldn't work. 2 days later it started working again. Other than that major/minor glitch I am very happy with it.

Re: Garmin
I LOVE MINE!! I definatly couldnt run without it. It's totally worth the money. If it helps, I only have the 205, which I know is cheaper than the later models and I LOVE it. It works great (despite being slightly bulking). I ended up paying $125 (from Walmart) for it. Have you checked to see what other models Walmart has? I found they have the best price and free shipping.
You should definatly hit that buy button!

Re: Garmin
I LOVE MINE!!! I have the 405cx and it is amazing, such a GREAT training tool. When I got it, DH asked if was still going to use my other regular Nike watch and I was like yeah for short runs. YeAH RIGHT! I use the garmin for every run, long, short, 1 mile, 10 miles, etc I am obsessed! It is so awesome and I love being able to see my splits, calorie burn, heart rate, etc. And when you upload the data, you can see hills and stuff, so cool!
Also I use the virtual partner in races if I am trying to finish in a certain time...very good feature. Not all the models have it but mine does and I like it!
Which one are you getting?

Re: Garmin
I have the 405.
The only cons (for me): it's bulky (made for a man's wrist) and the subtle pace differences are hard to detect on it.
I've just been getting into heartrates too, so it's perfect for tracking with the auto lap setting.
