Gardners please help

Trying to identify these 3 things:

Picture # 1 - I think its some kind of ornamental grass - but is there a specific name for it?

Picture # 2 - i saw this tree at the drive-thru in McDonalsChat Icon but i love it - anyone know what it is??

Picture # 3 - i thought was a hosta but has they twig like branches sticking out of itChat Icon is this a hosta or something else??

#1 might be Zebra Ornamental Grass.

#3 is def. a hosta. at this time of year they start to bloom flowers.

Do all hostas bloom flowers? All the ones ive seen i've never seen the branches coming out - just the leaves of the plantChat Icon

I'm not sure if they all bloom, but I have 4 different kinds and they all bloom. Sorry, maybe someone else knows if there are some that don't.

I think all the ones that look like that do... Some people like my mom hate the branches stickin up and cut them off... mine is starting to grow the branches and i dont like the look of it either so ill prob chop em off...

As for the 1st pic, I have something that looks similar thats called japanese ornamental grass

2nd pic.... no idea... if it was in bloom we'd prob be able to tell...

Great thanks - ive been wanting to cut off the branches but wasnt sure if it would hurt the plant.

#2 could be a kousa dogwood (if thats a white flower I'm seeing in the pic)
