Garbage disposal - Ques
We have one, use it constantly and I do get my hand down there sometimes to clear it if needed but lately, I find that its leaving an odor! I walk into my house and oooof, smells!
Im so digusted.
I know its nothing else but coming from the sink and it grosses me out.
I want rid of it!
What can I use, to help cleanse it out?
TIA

Re: Garbage disposal - Ques
have you tried to have the trap cleaned? there must be stuff stuck and kinda rotting in there. maybe even some draino to break that stuff free.

Re: Garbage disposal - Ques
I rarely use my disposal, but when it starts to smell I cut up a lemon into small pieces and feed it down -- usually takes care of the problem right away.

I've never had one either, it was just my best guess.

1/2 a lemon will help, but they sell stuff at WalMart that works WONDERS. It's called Disposer Care and looks like this.
FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS. Don't just shove it in there & turn on.

I just bought these little lavendar balls that I throw down there and turn it on and let it run for abotu 15 seconds. It smells so nice when it's done. I got them at BBB but don't know what they're called. They also come in a lemon scent.

Re: Garbage disposal - Ques
Every time I use lemons I cut them up in 1/4's and throw them down there... it really helps.

I have used those too. The lemon ones. Good as well, but I like the packets from WalMart better.
