Funny story from last night...
So we all know what DH and I did last night (just in case you missed it ) Afterwards, I went to put my legs up in the air - got a little over-zealous, I guess... I ended up flinging my legs up so fast, that I think I gave myself whiplash. I felt things crunch and grind in my neck and now I have major pain on the right side of the base of my neck that is radiating down my right arm. I can't tilt my head back or look to the right.  DH had to help me get out of bed this morning because I couldn't lift my neck on my own.
My neck totally feels like it did when I got whiplash from the car accident I was in over the summer.
This better be worth it!

Ugh - I *wish* I was kidding! I took one of the 500mg Naproxen pills they gave me after the accident.
Stupid question, but what can I do for moist heat?

Many heating pads come with a foam like thingy that you dampen and put in the sleeve thingy before using it. (love my technical terms huh?)
That makes ALL the difference with regards to the heat 'penetrating' the muscle. Dry heat can do damage by 'drying' out the muscle.
(i had spinal surgery 3 years ago - i'm all about neck/muscle pain)..

Ugghhh...I know the exact pain you're talking about. Does the pain radiate into your middle figner? Aleeve and an ice pack for 15 or 20 minutes usually helps a little. Feel better!
