30 follies! Updated 8-16...
Went to the RE this morning and had my bloodwork and ultrasound done.
I've been on stims since Thursday.
Well, I had 15 follies between 8-10 on each side. That's 30 follies!
They are waiting on the bloodwork to come back to decide whether I should lower my dosages or not.
In the meantime, I'm starting to feel uncomfortable. I'm bloated and gassy and very tender to the touch on my belly. Did anyone else experience this?

You are totally responding to the meds.
Yes, I felt VERY umcomfortable. It even hurt to sit down. I felt like a chicken with all the follies on me.
That is GREAT news. I had 20 follies, and 19 were mature. They may lower it so you dont hyperstim.

WOW! I figured you would have a lot. Everyone I know with PCOS ended up with at least 20 follies.
Im sorry your uncomfortable though 
Keep in mind some wont grow.
On my injectable cycle, I started out with 10 follies and only 2 made it to mature ...but obviously thats different, the iui inject's are no where near as stimming....
So I would say your gonna end up with at least 20.

WOW, I only had 11 follies and only 5 were fully mature. I was on such a low dose of follistim & Lupron b/c my Dr. was very careful not to overstim. I also have PCOS.

The RE just called and they are bringing my Gonal F down from 225 to 150 tonight and to 75 tomorrow night.
Is that normal? Or is it just because I have so many growing?

because you have too many. They want to get the ones you have maturing, and not create more and more.

yes, they dont want you to hyperstim.
Yes, that's perfectly normal. They had to do the same with me. They never would tell me how many follies they had until they did the retreival for reasons the above posters mentioned. I probably had about that number as well but they retreived 8 that were the best quality.

Went in this morning for my u/s and b/w.
There were about 4-5 follies in each ovary that were 14-15 in size.
Then there were a bunch of 11-12s in each and a bunch of 10s in each.
They said I'm progressing nicely. I just have to wait for my call this afternoon about dosages and then I go in again on Thursday to see the progression.

Today will be day 6 of stims. If things keep progressing at the same rate, my retrieval will be early next week. Maybe even Saturday.
