 | Can you look at my chart? When you ovulate does your temps usually spike up or does it gradually climb? My temps don't seem to be moving too much. I didn't use OPK this month - so I am not sure of the exact day of the surge. Image Attachment(s):Let me know what you think or have seen in the past - thanks girls

 | Re: Can you look at my chart? Everyone is different, but they will climb. It all depends on your body. Mine usually spikes, but I have seen a lot where it is a gradual climb. Keep an eye on it and I would keep BD'ing until you definitely see the climb. FF will post your O date usually three days after O.Lot's of luck and Baby Dust to you!!!!!!!!!!!

 | Re: Can you look at my chart? What day do you normally ovulate on? Whats your CF like it doesnt seem to be marked on the last charted day.
To answer your question you can either have a jump or a slow temp rise over a few days.
Usually I have one big jump but I have had quite a few slow rise months.

Quite honestly this is my second month of charting - last month I O'd on CD13. Also my temps spiked up on CD14. Maybe I didn't O yet

 | Re: Can you look at my chart? YOu didnt record your CM for today - has it changed? Judging by the CM you have posted, I would say you didn't O yet or you might be Oing today. Sometimes my temps spike up right away, sometimes it takes a day or two. Both are totally normal. |

 | Re: Can you look at my chart? Usually I record it later in the day - but it seems as though it is not as Eggwhitey. It is clear not stretchy. What should I put on the chart for that? Sorry - I am still learning

 | Re: Can you look at my chart? I'd say based of what FF offeres...either watery or creamy - which ever fits better. Probably creamy because its drying up and then it will go to sticky. |

 | Re: Can you look at my chart? Your high temps during and after AF...did you drink the night before? Also do you have any ovulation issues? Things like PCOS, they make your temps a little wackier then the normal type.... |

 | Re: Can you look at my chart? According to this chart, there has been no temp shift as of yet....be patient, O may be coming soon. Based on your chart, I am going to assume your post Ovulation temps are well into the 98 degrees.
Have you had your tsh checked ? Sometimes with short AF's and high temps that can indicate hyperthyroidism...it did with me.

Maybe buy some opks...and start checking now....can't hurt.

Are you sure you are checking your cervix for mucus ? Some people confuse arousal fluid or even (this sounds gross) but leftover semen, with cm. Best way to check is to swipe the cervix...and record what it is.

Last month was the first month I ever charted so I can only go by last month. Post Ovulation was well over 98.0 degrees. I did have a jump in my temps as of this morning. And my CM has definitely changed. As per am I checking my cervix correctly - I hope so - I usually take out my TCOYF book and go through that after and then chart it.
I have never been tested for anything - do you think that I should?
Here is my chart as of this morning - I just hope we timed our BD correctly this month. Image Attachment(s):

 | Re: Can you look at my chart? Wait three more days, but I agree with Debg, possible O was yesterday. Still bd....and if you can BD NOW...because bding in the am after ovulation, sometimes you can catch that egg!
And yes, I believe everyone should get their hormone levels checked when ttc. Your tsh, t3, and t4 are very important when ttc. Any doctor can run those tests, it's part of a physical. You don't need to go to a ob/gyn.

I agree with Deb and Red.
YOur post-O temps will vary from month to month. So just because last months temps were at or over 98 degrees doesn't mean that this month they will be. It also doesn't mean anything is wrong with you that you need to be tested for.

How long have you been TTC? Most doctors recommend TTC for 1 yr. until they star testing - unless you are in your 30's or have a past history of trouble, then they will test earlier. But dont worry, I'm sure everything is fine. Try not to get caught up in the testing talk on this board - I know its easy to do...I did!

I have been TTC since November, but really didn't start learning some of the details that I needed to until Feb. So I guess we can say I have been TTC since Feb/March officially.
I am 32 years old, I will be 33 in November.

 | Re: Can you look at my chart? Marcie, You may want to consider talking to your OBGYN about it. I'm in the same situation - same age and TTC since Nov 04. I didnt want to wait a year for testing and I'm glad I didnt becuase there are things I needed to address. |
