POLL: Teachers: What do you wear for Superintendent's Conference Day?
I always wear a skirt suit, but I'm thinking I may go a bit more casual (dress pants, top) this year.
What does everyone wear on Superintendent's Conference Day?
ETA: During the first year at conference day when I was at another district, I wore a skirt suit. The whole day I kept getting approached with "are you student teaching?" I guess student teachers wear suits mostly? lol... I didn't think so... I think I may still wear a suit. I think it looks professional. This comes from someone who won't even dress down with jeans on Friday, even when I'm allowed to... Doesn't look professional to me.

Me too - in my district it is ok to go casual that day...most people do.

very casual...because the first day is just sitting in meetings and then we have time to clean and set up our classroom, so I dont want be be dressed up

very casual.. we have a faculty meeting in the am and then spend the rest of the day organizing and settin gup for the next day with the kiddies..

Same. I'll probably wear capri's and a nice top. My room is already done so I don't have to worry about it and I HATE "wasting" a good outfit on days like these!
