 | A little early to be showing?? So I am about 12 weeks pregnant (still sick, throwing up constantly, but that's another post).
This morning somebody from work looked at my stomach and asked me if I was expecting!!! I have a little bump - but I always had a little tummy. I have not told anybody at work yet and said I was not expecting because she caught me completely offguard. Plus, I didn't want to fess up before telling the people I work directly with (she is in another department).

I honestly don't think I am showing, more just look a little heavier. Do I have to start telling work people now??

Honestly, unless the baby is actually coming out of a woman NEVER ask her if she is expecting unless she brings it up. I was so uncomfortable!!

This EXACT thing happened to me.

I guess I got fat fast...everyone was talking about it so I eventually just told my boss because I had to. I was only 10 weeks.

 | Re: A little early to be showing?? I began to show around the same time - but was still able to hide it depending on what i was wearing.
Even though i was beginning to show, I still decided to wait and tell my coworkers when i was ready - i told them at 14 weeks - i waited till the first trimester was over and until i got my test results.

But my coworkers fessed up to me after I told them, and told me they suspected I was pregnant after I told them i had to leave early for doctor appointments.....

 | Re: A little early to be showing?? I was def. a little bloated at 12 weeks..so people may have questioned it... but not far along enough where anyone would have know for sure...
I think tell them when you are ready... but when you finally pop... your growing rate is pretty rapid..so beware

 | Re: A little early to be showing?? I agree with everyone else. One of my friends is a week behind me (I'm 23 weeks) and she's STILL not showing...does wonders for my self esteem. Where's the icon with the continuously growing preggo belly???? |

I totally agree with this. I def. had a belly early on - and it was obvious that I had gained weight but I didn't tell anyone at my office until I was 3 months.

 | Re: A little early to be showing?? I am 15 weeks and think I am starting to show--my belly feels all bloated. I personally think it is so rude for someone to ask you if your pregnant. Some people have no manners! |

For my first, and since it was winter, I was able to hid under big sweaters until like 16-18 weeks along. That's when I told my bosses, and they said they thought so, but knew better than to ask
