Fully Potty Trained & Daycare Issues -- HELP!!!

DD has been potty-trained for months. We switched daycare centers in February and I sort of expected some regression due to the new environment and the fact that unlike her previous center, not all the kids in her class were potty trained. We got through with no issues whatsoever related to potty training.

FF to the beginning of this month, when I got a call from the daycare teacher telling me DD had an accident and was complaining it hurt when she peed. The teacher wanted me to be on the lookout for at UTI. That night at home she had no issues. The next day, (Friday) again she has an accident, and again I am told she was complaining it hurt. I took her to urgent care and she got a clean bill of health. She then had no issues all weekend.

She made it through the beginning of that week accident free, and then bang on the Friday had another accident.

Yesterday she had 3, yes 3, accidents and I got a note home saying she was again complaining it hurt.

When we took her to urgent care the first thing I was asked was what is going on at daycare. Originally I thought as medical professionals they were making a mountain out of a molehill, but I'm now very concerned that something is up.

Anybody have a similar experience???? Anybody have any thoughts they want to share???

This may be a silly question,... but have you asked your DD what is happening..if it in fact does hurt?

ARe the teachers bringing her to the bathroom enough?? Are they the ones not on top of it?

I switched daycares because of this and many other issues but they were ourposes taking too long to take DD to the bathroom and then tell me she had an accident at home with us no accidents, since swtiching daycare I thought there would be some regression but NOPE no accidents at all. I had other issues but this was a big one for me look into the daycare

Is it possible that DD is learning this from another little DC that is in her class? Maybe she's doing it for attention? Are they asking her if it hurts or is she telling them that it hurts without them asking? IMO that is a big difference for a LO.
