Full size beds-- for toddlers
Do you get rails for both sides if you don't have the bed situated against a wall? Where do you find these-- especially more "decorative" ones. I have a bed and a headboard I plan to use already.

I have rails on both sides. I don't have decorative ones, just the regular kinds they sell from BRU.

Re: Full size beds-- for toddlers
i only have one rail and the only reason we put it on was because the side that is closest to the wall doesnt hit the wall because of the baseboard, and we prefer him not to get stuck between the bed and the wall, but otherwise we used rails on his bed till he was about 2. and then put one back on when we moved him to a full

I am thinking of ordering the inflatable ones from One Step Ahead. They go under the fitted sheet.

I have two on his bed. He has a zillion things in there with him. They aren't decorative - but they are extra long (which I love)

The crib converted to a bed. It's really high off the ground so I put rails on both sides. DS moves around a lot in his sleep and it gives me peace of mind. They're not decorative, but they work well. I got them at One Step Ahead.

Re: Full size beds-- for toddlers
We started our without the rails. He ended up falling out a couple of times. We ended up putting them on both sides after that.

Re: Full size beds-- for toddlers
DS tends to stay to one side of the bed so we have a rail on that side only

Re: Full size beds-- for toddlers
We have only a twin bed, but have bedrails on both sides...though I really don't think she needs them at this point. I just don't see the harm in keeping them since we have them.

Re: Full size beds-- for toddlers
No, DS has never fallen off. DD has half fallen off, meaning her legs only made it to the floor and then she called me . My kids usually sleep in the middle.
