Fruit Trees?
Does anyone have a fruit tree on their property?
Do you find it attracts more pests/critters?
Is it difficult to take care of?

Re: Fruit Trees?
Growing up in Wading River, we had several apple trees, several pear trees, a couple of plum trees, two quince trees, 3 or 4 fig plants, blueberry, blackberry, and raspberry bushes, and some grape vines. We also had a garden with a lot of vegetables.
We never had an excess of stray animals on the property. Just some squirrels, but no more than I do now, and I have no fruit trees on my property.
When we sprayed the trees, we had so much fruit that we would give shopping bags of fruit to everyone who stopped by. When we didn't spray the trees, it was up to me and my sibs to go around the yard pretty much every day picking up all of the rotting fruit that never matured. One or two trees won't be a bid deal, but over a dozen trees or more really adds up.
