From the crazy scheduling mess of a mom
If you remember last night...having problems with DD who would not take any more then 4 bottles. Im going to lay out my day...it has been nuts. I have to give instructions for daycare and am SO LOST. Mind you...this is the problem. * Shes not up for more then 2 hours. * She needs a bottle before naptime to sleep. Look at this ridiculousness..I offered 5 oz in each of these bottles
9am wake 9:15- 4oz 10:45- 3 oz formula + cereal 10:50-1:20 nap 1:30- 3oz 3:00- 4oz 3-4 nap 4:50 3oz 5:30-6 nap 7- 5oz + cereal bed
thats 6 bottles
all in a 2 hour time frame from eachother... really I need a second masters degree here to figure out this mess...

Re: From the crazy scheduling mess of a mom
first of all i don't think she needs a bottle to go down for a nap (that is just my opinion). you said she takes a pacifier so offer that instead.
also (JUST my opinion) i don't think it matters how often she has to eat - she ate 22 oz. which is great for a 3 month old. but i think that if you offered her a bottle only when she wakes up from each nap/sleep session, she will eat more at east feeding.
how was she last night?

Re: From the crazy scheduling mess of a mom
I think you need to speak to your pediatician about some suggestions about her feeding schedule.
When my daughter was that young, I kept her on a strict schedule where she ate every 3 hours during the day, even if that meant I had to wake her. That kept her happy...but it won't work for every baby. You need to find what will work for you and for her....rather than worrying so much about getting it all right in one shot.
It's not easy! But once you figure it out, your life will be easier. And she may not sleep through the night for a while! But if she only wakes up once a night, you'll be better off.
