Friends that are divorced....
How many couples do you all know (that you or DH grew up with or hung out with pre getting married) have gotten a divorce by now??
Me and DH were talking about this the other night and I was saying that most of our friends who are married (the longest being 7 years) all seem really good together and I can't imagine any of them getting a divorce but as DH said you never know with what time and circumstances can do to a marriage.
Just wondering what the numebrs are like. DH and me know of none right now.

DH has had one friend that got divorced after 1 1/2 years. We went to the wedding.
DH tells me after the fact that he used to cheat on her all the time and even had a fling at his bachelor party

none. DH had a co-worker who had been divorced twice, but she is older and her divorces had already occurred before we met her.

We were pretty much the first to get married out of all our friends. I do have one friend who's marriage is on the rocks because her husband cheated on her plus they have a child.

None we were one of the first to be married.....but there are definite divorces happening with one if not two weddings we went to this year.....these people are so miserable and they JUST got married.

I have one friend who was divorced before I met her and she is now remarried, other than that, none.
I have one other friend who should be seeking a divorce right now, but is determined to make it work

None of our friends are divorced. I think the longest couple is 5 years married.
We were having a similar conversation last night - we can't imagine any of them divorcing. But I guess you don't see the behind the scenes stuff.

Of all of our college friends who's wedding's we've been to, 1 divorce.
Among coworkers 3 divorces.
No HS friends.
Two of my cousins have been married and divorced twice each, and one of his cousins will be divorced soon.

I am divorced and now remarried and one of my good friends is in the process of getting divorced. Other than that, no one else I know (friends/family in my age range) is divorced.

just this week we found out that one of our friends is getting an annulment. They were married last february after dating each other for 1 month.
We saw it coming.

My college roommate was married two years after graduation and they split a couple months later. My best friend's roommate (also a friend, but not as close) also married not long after we finished college, and divorced two years later. But both are now happily remarried.

I only know of one friend (not really close) from college thats divorced. I am honestly not suprised since Ive always thought he was a jerk.

We know one couple (whose wedding we attended) getting a divorce. They also met, got engaged, married, bought a house and got preggo in a matter of 5 months. I can't imagine any of the other couples getting a divorce though.
