Fried cheese ravioli

Has anyone ever made these? I was thinking about making this as an app for DH'S party. I am just worried they will need to be super hot to taste good.

Re: Fried cheese ravioli

we have them as an appetizer for Christmas Eve & can tell you they are much better at room temperature. When they are too hot, you burn your mouth when you bite into them

I made them and then traveled about an hour. I warmed them up for maybe 5 minutes prior to serving and they were perfect.

Giada's recipe is my favorite and so easy.

Re: Fried cheese ravioli

i make them alot , DH's sons love em ,,
I dont cook the ravoli first though , IDK if thats the way most recipes are , but I find if its still frozen the chesse stays put..

I just basically double bread them.( egg, breadcrumbs , egg bread crumbs..
If they start to deforst as im doin so I put them back in the freezer while the oil heats up...Love them

I've made them before as an app...you can even serve them as a dessert with some confectioner's sugar!

My DH picked some of these from Target - their brand and they were amazing! I was so surprised.

Re: Fried cheese ravioli

Yes but don't overheat.

You can also have marinara sauce on the side that is hot too.

They are sooooo good.
