Can you eat fresh mozzarella when PG? Im about to order a panini and I dont want to do the wrong thing...Thanks!

If its pasturized then yes! If not then you risk the chance of listeria! I love fresh mozzarella but I've stayed away from it

I was told not to eat it. Fresh mozzarella is kept in water, which may harbor bacteria as well. So I just avoid it. I do eat pasteurized hard mozzarellas such as Polly-o, etc.

Yep you can have it. Most mozzarella sold in the US is pasteurized. Enjoy!!
