Freaky. . .
So I got home from work last night and I swear you would think I was Spongebob himself walking in the house the way Bella whoops it up.
I scoop her up and we sit on the couch and she kisses me and hugs me and starts jabbering to me like we were having a convo. . .
and it was freaky...but in that moment it just really hit me...
and I just looked at her and she was...so...BIG. I mean, like grown-up toddler to me. I just kept looking at her and her teeth, smile, personality, pigtails, with so much to say...and when I sing she dances like it's the best music she ever heard.
It's like a deja vu feeling, but it feels so bittersweet...it really does go by so fast.

That's so sweet, such a good feeling that she lights up like that when you walk in. Enjoy it!!! It is bittersweet. I can't believe my little man is almost 1. I can't even remember him being so little, and it was just a few months ago!

That's what I mean, I feel like she was so tiny soooo long ago. And every second she seems to get bigger and smarter and more independent...

This morning the daycare teacher asked if I remembered Ryan "this little" as she changed an 8 wk old's diaper. I looked at him and thought WOW it does go by TOO fast!!

I know exactly what you mean.
The other night I gave Jake his dinner and he looked at his dish thoughtfully...then wrapped his chubby little fingers around the bowl and carefully slid the bowl toward me, lifted his eyes to mine, smiled and said "No, thank you."
I was like  Are you kidding me?
At that moment I realized how much of his own person he is and I was just amazed. Not to mention the fact that I don't even know when or how he learned to say all that in this particular context!
It does go too too fast.

I know what you mean. Jordana is 11 months today. I can't believe that not too long ago she was just a little peanut who couldn't move or roll or crawl.

It's scary, isn't it? I'm seeing more and more every day that Alex is becoming her own person. It just boggles my mind how she needed me for literally EVERYTHING, even the simplest of things, like a burp, and now, a year and a half later, she's already asserting her own self.
It goes too quick. That's why we have another, right?!

DS is only 6 months but already I am starting to see what you mean. He has such personality

I know what you mean kelly, Julia is 20 months, and I walk around the house and have full conversations with her and its like she knows what I'm saying word for word, or if I tell her I'm looking for something, she will go and get it for me, I can't believe shes such a big girl already!
Our babies aren't babies anymore!!
