Formula/feeding question
KJ is 8 months. He normally has 4 eight ounce bottles per day (7, 12, 4 and 7) along with 3 meals (the last one at about 6:30pm)
the past few days, he has been refusing his last bottle
maybe he is ready to go down to 3 bottles? or would you just skip the 3rd feeding and give the bottle?
share your thought / feeding schedule

From what I understand they tend to drop down to 24oz a day.

This happened w/ us. She was getting bottles at 7,11,3 and 7. Plus 3 meals. Now, she falls asleep after about 1oz of the 7pm. I now just make a 2oz bottle to rock her with.

I would try to cut out the 4:00 bottle.
DD was on a similar schedule and we dropped the 4ish bottle so that she still got a bottle right before bed.

I first dropped a bottle, but the sched was off. I dropped his 3:30 bottle, but he did a little something to hold him over.
Just did 4 6oz bottles.

Yeah, my DS is only 4 months old but my ped said when we get to vegetables to try to drop that 3rd bottle in the late afternoon. Thats not for another month or 2 for me, but your DS is refusing it on his own then that sounds about right.

DS started this about 1.5 months ago! He use to drink 5 7oz bottles totalling 35 oz a day. He started to only drink his entire morning & nighttime bottle and anything in between was cut from 7oz to anything ranging from 2-4...I called the ped & they told me that as long as he got 18-20oz a day, I was ok! It most likely was due to the increase of food intake. Now he drinks
6.5 oz in the am
3-3-4 oz bottles during the day
7 oz at night
