formula feeding for one month old..please help

I feel like such a bad mom not knowing what to do..

My dd is one month old and not sure how much on average is normal formula intake for each feeding. She eats every 3 hours normally. We were up til 3 weeks giving her usually 3 ounces..sometimes 3.5...we tried going to 4 after she had an episode where 3 was not enough for her but since that time she has been struggling to do 4 but does take it..however today she projectiled vomiting after the hiccups and eating..

Can 4 ounces be too much this young? Assume we should go back to 3-3.5?

:help!

I would do 4 but if she is pulling away from the bottle or sleeping just take it from her. I think dd was eating between 3-4oz at this time and it stayed that way for awhile before she went to 5 or 6 oz. I want to say she was 3 or 4 months. Exactly what pp said. I would offer 4 oz but watch for her signals. If she's struggling to finish, crying, playing with the bottle then take the bottle away. I want to say 3-4 oz is normal at that age.

Does she need to burp? How often do you burp? MAybe she needs an extra burp in there or maybe she just needs a few mins to finish the bottle.
