Ok so I just purchased the clear blue easy ovulation tests....so it says that I should test 11 days after the 1st day of AF....now...if I get a +, I know I have to bd that day but do I have to test again the next day or just bd for the next couple of days in a row???? And when is the best time to test to get an accurate answer??

when you get a positive opk you can stop testing. the positive test basically tells you that ovulation will happen within two days. so if you BD that day and a couple days after you will be covered. even every other day around that time is more than enough, from what i've read.

the best time to test is around lunch time. LH surges in middle of the night / early morning, so if you test around noon it will have had enough time to build up in your urine. having said that, i've tested at all different times and have gotten positives. more important i think is that you test at the same time every day.

I read that it is best to do the test after not drinking for a few hours - otherwise, the surge can be diluted. Also, I read, do it at the same time, but not first morning urine. As the other poster said, once you get a positive, that should do it!!

you should hold your urine for at least 2 hours so if you're planning on testing around 1:00 I'd hold off on drinking too much liquids so it doesn't dilute your urine and so that you're not dying.

I started testing on CD10 because my cycles have been fluctuating between 26 - 29 days etc... turns out i got my + on CD12. good luck!
