For those with children in daycare full-time

What are you getting the head teacher this year?

For the teacher's assistant and the teachers in the older kids room I got these cute slippers and pedicure spa sets, but I would like to get something special for DS's head teacher as they mutually absolutely adore each other.

DS has 1 head teacher and an assistant. I'm getting the head teacher a $100 GC and the assistant a $50 GC. theres also a morning teacher for an hour, and i'm giving her a $10 GC.

Our school just had a meeting about this. We have "Wish Lists" at the front desk with every employee.

Favorite color, food, restuarant, perfume, soap, book type, music, etc. To make shopping easier.

My teacher has triples. So I'm sure she'll be thinking of her little ones.. haha But I'll be looking at that book before I go on vaca and buying her something from Hawaii

For her room teachers, $25 gift cards to Macy's. I don't get for the other since the kids in THEIR rooms get stuff for them.

ETA: our preschool/daycare is a LOT cheaper than NY and the expectations about gifts lower

We give cash. They get paid so little when the tuition is broken down per hour. That way they can buy whatever they want, use the money toward classes (many of the teachers in DC's school are in grad school), etc.

For the asst., she's an older lady and the owner's MIL, I'll give a gift card.

Head Teacher & Assistant Teacher are both getting $25 Amex cards and either a scarf from Gap or a magazine subscription gift (if I can ever find it in time).

I got $20 Target gift cards for Riley's 3 teachers but I'm wondering, do I get the Center director/owner something? and what should I get her?

Does that mean I get the office manager something too?

Gift cards for each of the teachers (4 total).

He had two teachers this year split right in half be cause he moved to pre-school in June.

We made an ornament for his newest teacher - she loves Minnie mouse so he painted one for her at a paint-your-own pottery place.

We got cat toys for the other since she has a cat.

Both will also get $50 Visa gift cards.

I'm getting his two main teachers, the head and the assistant, $25 giftcards from TD Bank or Target. I'm getting the same for the two teachers in his last room - he still sees them for early drop off and late pick up and loves them - and they love him. I figure he spent more of the year with them as well.

I'm giving Bath and Body Works hand soaps to the PT assistants, floater, and directors. The directors have been very good to us this year (DS is part time and we've moved a lot of days around and they did so without an issue).

ETA - DS is part time but, he's there 11 1/2 hrs on the days he's there so I feel like he's full time.

DD goes to a home daycare...so far i have gotten her a $50 gift card for lululemon...she has become a great friend.

i am getting her something else but im not sure what yet....prob in the $25 range but not sure what.

oh i also got her a magnet made of DD of her fav pic from our photo shoot. she has DDs pic on her fridge from her 18m pics and DD is almost 3 time to update since DD is the only daycare kid on her fridge!
