For those who use (used) the Weisbluth method

Can you refresh my memory on what the recommendation is for 4 months? DD2 is doing well at night- taking a 9 am (or 2 hours after she wakes) nap for about 40 minutes.... after that is basically cat naps every 2 hours.

Does this sound right? Should I be stretching wake time to 3 hours?

I remember DD1 didn't start taking "good" naps till she was 6 months.

I am pretty sure the Weissbluth nap schedule for a 4 month old is 9am (or two hours after waking is fine) and then a long afternoon nap (hour-hour and a half) and then an evening nap that is shorter. Maybe 30-45 minutes.

However I know my DD didn't follow this nap schedule until she was about 5 months. I was ready, but she wasn't. So I went with what she wanted.

Once she got it:
Nap 1 would start between 8:45-9:15 (45-60 minute nap)
Nap 2 would be around 12:30 (1-2 hours)
Nap 3 would be around 5:30 (30-45 minute nap)

8:30pm bed and wake around 7:30am

Thank you! Do you remember how feedings played into that? I feel like I am feeding her before her mid-day nap.

I always fed DD before her mid day nap. It was a long nap and she didn't nap as well if she didn't nurse before.
