? for those who registered in BRU and had your shower already
Are they really that bad? I work with someone who said her nieces shower was a few weeks ago and the registery was a total disaster. She said numerous people at the shower complained. She said approx. 75% of the stuff was available online only, service was horrible and she ended up going to 2 different stores before she was able to find anything in stock that was on the registery. Now she is saying they wont let her niece return the duplicates she got "she is maxed out on returns"
So for those of you that already had your shower did you run into all these problems? Is it worth registering there?

I didn't have that problem at all, but I am maxed out on returns there without receipts. It's not a big deal though because my DH can still return there.

I didn't have any problem with them at all.
I did not have any problems and I did not hear any complaints. They found everything they wanted in the store and not online.

I had absolutely no problem either. Even with returns with no receipts! I didn't hear anyone complain about it.
I got everything off my registry

I had few things go in and out of stock online, but they were great about returns, and I thought the selection was nice.

I had no problems when I registgered their. I also only added 2 items online and that was it. I did receive an invite to a shower and she did almost everything online and when I went to the store they didn't carry it. That I found to be very annoying and ended up buying her cloths because I didn't want to pay for shipping.

My only issue was they let my dad/step-mom buy something in Texas that they then got an email saying it was out of stock, I was able to buy it on SI.

If I had to do it all over again I would have just registered at BBB instead of both.
I had a problem with several returns.
IMO they should have treated me better since I often buy twice as much as most moms.

I got a few duplicates somehow -- people bought stuff that was already gone from my resgistry. I believe it was BRU fault but can't be sure. Not everything is available on line but you will see that when you look at your list.
I found them helpful, took some good classes there, and haven't had any problems with returns (knock on wood).
