?? for those who boil cinnamon sticks...
OK, I know this is stupid, but do you boil the water, then turn the water off and add the sticks, do you put the sticks in while the water is boiling? Damn, I'm in trouble if I can't even figure THIS out!!!

I think after the water boils, then you shut it and add the cinnamon sticks. My mom also used to add orange peels.

I never boil the water. I just add a cinnamon stick to a little water and let it simmer on the stove for a while. The smell fills the room.
I love it.

I boil the water w/ the cinnamon stick in it, I also add a little bit of coffee powder to the water, thats how my mom does it.
