? For Those That Have Switched Formulas
My ped. had us switch from Simlac Advance to Enfamil Gentlease b/c of our newborn's gas issues. She has been extremely uncomfortable and very gassy the last few days. The only way to keep her content is to rock/sway with her in my arms. Mylicon isn't even working. It is heartbreaking to see her like this. Anyway, my question is, how long does it usually take to see a difference? The ped said to give it a week, but that seems so long.

When we switched formulas it took about 4 days to see a change.

Have you trip colic tablets by Hyland's? They are sold in Whole Foods or CVS like places. It's all natural and helps my Ava with gas issues. I put on in her mouth with a pacifier and it dissolves.
Editing to add - I would give the formula about 3-4 days before deciding you don't like it. We had to try several formulas with Ava and my dr said give it a little less than a week.
