For those not buying/registering for bedding sets

I'm not finding a bedding set that I LOVE, and won't be using the bumpers that come with a set anyways. Now I'm looking into separates.

If you aren't getting a bedding set, what items are you getting? I would like to get a crib skirt, sheets & matching blanket but don't even know if they sell the crib skirts separately (I can't get it separate from pottery barn). Any ideas?

Also, where should I look for wall decor (pictures and stuff)? I want to paint the room a neutral tan, and do blues, browns & tans as the color palette. Then add in cute baby stuff in the decor.

Honestly, I found it very difficult to find a nice skirt for the crib. So I registered for a plain one (ecru) to match the ecru colored breathable bumpers.

So we registered for:

Breathable bumper
Sheets (3)
Ultimate crib sheets (3) - to easily change sheets in the event of middle of the night messes, etc.
Crib skirt

As for decorations, you can always get the matching decorations of a set that you like and get the crib items (sheets, skirt) in one of the coordinating colors.

I am prob not going to get a set. I registered for sheets in purples, ecru, and some sage. I figure you go through a ton of crib sheets with an infant so I wanted to have a bunch of those. I am going to prob get other things from all different places. They prob won't match exact but it doesn't bother me. As for blankets I went with purples, and ecru again b/c they are more just for holding the baby. I will prob do a cute crib skirt, curtain, lamp, etc.. I love etsy & will prob order a bunch of things from there like wall decals, art, etc..

I like your color scheme...I'm going to do tans/blues if Chat Icon turns out to be a Chat Icon
