For those looking to use Natura by BM paints!

I know I have seen people ask about the new zero VOC paints by BM - Natura. I just wanted people to know that we used it this week and it is great!! We were very happy with it.

We used it in our Family Room and loved it. Didn't smell like paint after we were done. We are very happy with the walls. It's a nice thick paint I think and dries quick too. We used the semigloss for the all trim & molding, we used Eggshell for the walls and we also bought primer. Loved it all. I won't go back to regular paint after using this paint. Chat Icon

I have been hearing great reviews on it, but what is the cost difference? One of my friends mentioned it is almost double the cost of regular paint and DH is having a hard time with those numbers! Chat Icon

It was $10 more a gallon compared to BM Regal which we normally use. Approx $50 a gallon but to us BM paint is worth the $$.

Using it right now... waiting for the primer to dry.

I used it in my DS's room last week. No odor. Excellent coverage. I did one wall a deep blue (Lazy Sunday) and I did not need a tinted primer. Actually, it looked very good after the first coat but I did a second anyway.

I've painted a lot of rooms (4 houses worth, I'm on room #32 today) and the job always goes faster and better with BM... the coverage is just better, and it hides small wall perfections better than Sears and Behr (the other brands I used). If the job takes me an hour or two less it's well worth the extra $10.

yup, I belive we paid $47 or $49 per gallon. It was worth the extra money in my opinion to not smell the VOC's in the house.Chat Icon
