so here i am at 25 weeks still throwing up and horribly nausous my doctor thinks i am going to have it the whole 9 months at this point. my fear is that i will have it during labor and even the days folllwing the baby being born, i was just wondering for those who also had it till the end, when did it get better for you, i just cant imagine coming home from the hospital and feeling like this and having to take care of a newborn

I wasn't a puker, but I had m/s that felt like a 24 hour hangover starting at about 3 weeks, and continuing through the end. Miraculously, during labor I wasn't nauseaus, though that may just be because I was dealing with back labor and I was concentrating on not passing out for about 10 hours

I ended up with a c-section, and yes, I ended up vomiting all over Dh while on the operating table , but that was about it.

I did experience bouts of nauseau post-partum as the hormones subsided, but never as bad as the m/s during pregnancy

I was just thinking this myself last night. I am in the same boat, about a week or two ahead of you.

First and I really hope that the minute we hit labor its DONE.

I know they can give you anti nausea meds in an IV if you choose to.

I had horrible m/s and It stopped around 4-5 months, due to daily iv treatments...

My experience with labor was not so great...I was vomiting with every contraction and during my c-section I continued to vomit. The next day..I felt great and wasnt sick at all!

Everyone is different..I had a feeling I would be sick during labor so I prepared myself. Even the anit-nausea stuff they give at the hospital didnt work,,if anything it made me more sick~

I had it from 6 weeks until 16 weeks. The dr PROMISED it would go away at week 10...he was soooo wrong and I was honestly so upset that he was wrong bc I thought it would never end. I was on zofran. Are you on that? I have to say it wasnt a cure but it stopped me from puking. I still felt EXTREMELY nauseaus. I fear future pregnancys with MS thats how horrible the MS was. The end result was wonderful...the best! People told me I would forget...I didnt. It came back after week 16 around week 30 and again I was upset. My advice...take it easy and breathe. Some days will get easier. Try the zofran if you havent already.

My m/s stopped for about 4 weeks in my second trimester, but then came back again. I did not vomit while in labor. I did vomit afterwards and it was horrible! But I had a c-section and the nurse told me it was from the gas.

Hi, I had it till the day I gave birth. I threw up practicaly every night for the full 9 months. Every night at various times soemtimes early in the evening sometimes later and sometimes in the middle of the night I would be found wretching my brains out. I was so sick and my eating habits/ taste buds totally changed those months too. The sickness completely stopped once I gave birth and my eating habits/taste buds came back with a few exceptions after about 2 weeks of giving birth. I hated beign pregnant but now 3 months later I could not care less about being sick those months. Once you see your little one you would do it over in a heartbeat if you had to. FM with any questions or support b/c Lord knows I know you probably need it, like I did.

I had MS the entie time with Damien, only till 18 weeks with Jaidyn. As soon as I gave birth it went away I was fine afterwards.

I was sick the whole time. Bad. Right until the last minute I was throwing up on the c-section table. (sorry TMI)

But right after I had dd it was gone.
