I pretty much shop at S&S and Waldbaum's, Trader Joe's on occassion.
I do not like King Kullen.

how does KK stay in business?  I was in a shopping center recently and needed a few things... so I went into KK and couldn't believe the prices! $4 a lb for asparagus?! it's $2.49 a lb at S&S.

Pathmark is probably my favorite bc they seem to have the best prices, sales
King Kullen is in walking distance so we go there the most but it is $$

I like Stop and Shop because most of them are clean and well kept. I also like Best Yet in Oakdale. I can't tolerate Waldbaum's, Shop Rite, IGA or Pathmark. I also like Meat Farms for store made Italian Bread. I like to use specialty stores as well. I use Islip Meat Market for my better cuts of meat.

I like King Kullen--I do not think they are expensive, plus they are the only supermarket to double dollar coupons
When they have the 10 off coupons, plus all my coupons I can get lots of stuff for about 60 bucks
But I do love Stop and Shop. They just built a new one by me in Bay Shore and I love it! (esp since there is a Starbucks in it!! lol)
They take the 10 King Kullen and Pathmark Coupons and that is a bonus!

I only use KK when I need to pick something up quick since its pretty close to my house.
For bulk items I use Bjs
I hate Waldbaums.

Mostly shop at Pathmark for the sales and since they redid the one by me, it's been much cleaner.
Sometimes we go to Waldbaums if we just need to pick up a few items.
But if I'm out by New Hyde Park, I love to go to H-Mart for fresh seafood and vegetables!

Love Stop and Shop although their produce has started to go down the drain.
I also like some of the Waldbaums, but there is none near me.
Could go either way with KK.
I despise Pathmark.
And for bulk, our membership is at BJ's.
