I started buying the generic brands. They taste the same to me.
Any generics that you'd rec'd? I've tried some (mostly by picking them up by accident) and I didn't like them.
I go to Stop & Shop and I have tried their pastas, frozen and canned veggies, and juices and they have been fine.
Yes! Stop and Shop's own line is AWESOME! Much better than any other store brands I have tried!

Re: Food Shopping
We use scan the store sales circulars before heading out to the supermarket and buy whatever is on sale. We make a list of what we need, see who has it on sale, and clip coupons every week.
I also check the CVS and Rite Aid sales circulars b/c sometimes they have great sales on toothpaste, shampoo/condit., toilet paper, detergent, etc. and they take coupons too.
And we always use the store savings cards (the things that attach to your key chain).

Sale items! I love buying stuff on sale and the receipts always show how much you saved.

Re: Food Shopping
I spend $50 a week, no more and no less. I get meals for each day and no snacks.

Re: Food Shopping
Each week I buy wraps, milk, oj, deli meat (1/2 lb each of 2 meats + 1 chese), and whatever fruit is on sale, and then I off set each week with either cookies, chips, etc. This way, I only spend around $30-40 each week in groceries and I use coupons.
Plus, I've leaned what sale prices are on certain items, so I won't pay $3 for a 1/2 gallon of OJ, or more than $3.99 for clementines, etc.

buy some stuff at target- it's cheaper coupons buy what's on sale with your card- or store brand stick to my list
I spend about $120 for 2 weeks - so that's $60 a week for 2 people
I agree. I buy my paper goods and some food at Target. Much cheaper.

Re: Food Shopping
I wish I knew. I cut coupons. I buy sale items. I goto Walmart (next to stop and shop) before the supermarket buy soap shampoo etc etc etc there (saves a little) BUT I still spend 130 + every 2 weeks
