Fontdant question
for my SIL's wedding her cupcake maker was supposed to make these candied hearts out of fondant, as seen in this pic from martha stewart:
So now i am doing them...i bought wilton premade 5lb white fondant and the fondant roller. I figured rolling it out and cutting out hearts shouldnt be too hard.
question: how far in advance can I do these? the wedding is 10/1. I figured 2 days before I would do them and store them in a container and bring to the wedding with me.
is that ok? how long does fondant last for? I assume it hardens when left out, which I think is how these are supposed to be.
thanks!

Re: Fontdant question
Those aren't difficult at all! You can do them as car in advance as you want to....but 2 days should be fine. It has to dry out so it'll stay hardened. Don't put it in a container to store though...that'll keep it from totally hardening.
I like to cut the fondant and then let it dry on either a large Styrofoam board, or on parchment paper.
Good luck!
