Folic Acid
How much is the recommended amount for TTC? I'm on a multi with 400 mcg. and I bought a supplement that has 400 as well.
I can't see my OB/GYN for another week so I thought I would do this in the meantime.

my prenatals have 800mcg of folic acid. I think that is the reccomended amount.l

A pharmacist told me that the reason perscription prenatals are PERSCRIPTION is bc they have 1mg of folic acid. So my prenatals have 800mcg, and i supplement with 400mcg. I think as long as you're around 1mg, you're perfect!! So it sounds like you're fine :)

My doctor told me to be sure to take 800 mcgs of Folic Acid. Most PreNatals seem to have 800mcgs, some have 1mg.
