flying with liquid formula....
i want to bring the 8oz ready to feed bottles of formula on vacation....its just easier. but i dont want to pack it in my checked luggage because i am worried about the temperature.
if it is sealed do they let you bring it on as a carry on? i know last time i flew they were so laid back with my kids items, they didnt even check their sippy cups.
im flying southwest out of islip if that matters.

even if its not sealed they let you bring it. They just run it through this scanner thing and hand it back to you

You can bring it on sealed or unsealed.
We flew with them a few times. Only had one issue - in Phoenix I had to get a pat down since I wouldn't unseal them.

I brought a bunch of cans with me. Not enough for our entire vacation bc I bought more when we got there. I didn't have a problem in JFK. In Florida I had to get a pat down.
There is a limit though with how much you bring. TSAR says a reasonable amount. Not sure how many cans you plan on bringing.

I brought a lot because I went out of the country. I actually wrapped them in bubble wrap and put them in plastic bags then packed them in my checked luggage. They limit you on how much you bring on the flight. It can only be enough for the flight pretty much. They allowed me 1 open half used 32 oz and 1 closed one for the flight. I brought extra in case of delays (which happened to us once and I ran out of formula)

That should be fine, especially bc you have twins. I think I flew with 6 cans. I was so worrie our flight would be delayed, etc etc and I would get stuck without any formula I prepared for Armageddon
