Flu vaccine question
Dd is now over 2 so she can get the nasal spray. Is it less effective than the shot? Sounds too good to be true that she doesn't have to get a shot

I don't think it's less effective.
I think the only difference is it's a live virus vaccine as opposed to the shot which is a killed virus.
I also think my DD would freak out just as much as the shot with something shot up her nose like that
I know I would!

Flu vaccine question
its actually more effective than the shot. My kids get them and its really easy. doctor just puts it under their nose and tells them to sniff like they are smelling a flower and bam - its done!

Flu vaccine question
My cousins son had it and he ended up with flu like symptoms (might have been the flu I cant remember what she said) afterwards because her dr did not explain its live. He was really sick and she never got it again after that. She went for the shot.

I don't do the flu shot but if I did I would do the shot before the spray. At least the virus is dead in the shot.
