Flu shots
If your baby is less than 6 months old will you and DH get the flu shot? I never get the flu shot, but since I'm breastfeeding my 2 month old I'm wondering if I should get it this season.

Re: Flu shots
Yes definitely. An infant getting the flu is extremely dangerous. I'll deal with any side effects of the shot.

Flu shots
Last year I got it before DD was old enough. Her ped actually gave it to me at one of her appointments and then she got it at her 6 month appt.

Re: Flu shots
I never had the shot in my life and I have never had the flu (knock on wood). I didn't want to but I got the flu shot at the hospital the day after DD was born and I breast feed. They told me that it's a must. They also told me that anyone else that would be in close contact with her to get it too.

Re: Flu shots
Last year when I had dd, my ob never told me I needed to get a flu shot. The hospital never said anything either. I did not get the flu shot.
